Our Type 01 - desert boots the way they used to be made, made up the prologue in the story of Hutton of Northampton's revival.
Our first act: Playtime by Hutton. The return of an icon. Brought back with historical accuracy, ensuring the minutia of the original design that made up its timeless aesthetic were not lost in translation to the present.
The revival continues: The Playtime Shoe. The Division 1 sneakers. Impeccable vintage design, construction, and materials resurrected from the pages of fashion history. Without compromise.
Our story - or mission - is not over yet: because certain things should never be relinquished to the past - they belong in the present.
Hutton of Northampton is a three-generation family-owned business.
Founded in the 1930s and then re-incorporated in 1948 as Hutton of Northampton, the first iteration Hutton was a force to be reckoned with, but like all good things, came to an end.
As luck would have it, Hutton the company, and well as its classic designs, would be given a second life. One that required three-generations of one family....
