Due the nature of sprint runs being made to order there are no refunds for sizing issues or variables in the natural marks and grain due to the nature of the natural (not man-made) materials used or due to the handmade (not machine-made) nature of the product.
If in the unlikely event you may have an issue with the quality of your item then a refund will be possible.
About 'The Oliver' by Hutton X Owen Barry 1948 Shearling Coat
This shearling coat is a custom pattern made by Owen Barry 1948 exclusively for Hutton of Northampton, thus you won't find it anywhere else.
We sent the pattern makers at Owen Barry highly detailed instructions for all the elements needed to make this the definitive shearling ‘Oliver Barrett’ model and Owen Barry used their historic skills in turning our design into the perfect coat.
The Oliver is made of premium shearling, hand cut and sewn in Street, Somerset, England by the Owen Barry craftsmen and women who between them have decades of experience in fashioning these iconic garments. You may remember them from the collaboration work they've done with J Press in the past. Learn more about this product here.

Shearling is a natural product. It will have some variations in texture and sometimes small marks may be visible under certain light conditions. This is normal.
Shipping Notice
Orders for the UK will be shipped directly from inside the UK.
EU orders will be imported together by Hutton and shipped to EU customers by us. No further VAT or customs fees will therefore apply to EU orders.
Orders from overseas (non UK/EU) may be shipped from UK or EU. All usual customs and taxes may apply in your country if outside the UK/EU.

All Hutton footwear is handmade in Italy, in a hundred year old family-owned factory where they've made crepe-sole boots and shoes since the 1960s.
Can you tell me more about Hutton's signature blonde crepe soles?
Many boots feature crepe soles, but not all crepe is created equal.
In this day and age, most shoe companies will choose the cheapest crepe to use in the production of their shoes and boots.
The option is chosen to check a box, so the consumer sees "crepe" and assumes quality.
But when we choose our materials, we choose to skip past the lower tiers.
At Hutton, we refuse to settle for offering even second best - our blond crepe soles are, quite literally, the best of the best, and the only option we see fit to use.
What about the leathers and other materials used in your footwear?
Each and every Hutton boot and shoe - no matter the colouration - is made of premium quality, locally sourced, Italian leather.
The leather is dyed and tanned by hand - using only natural, vegetable-tanned - a process that happens in Italy as well.
As a result, all of our materials are ethically and responsibly sourced. They are also environmentally friendly, as they are hand-made in Italy using locally sourced materials.
We use expensive, vegetable tanned leather that doesn't require heavy metals, such as chrome, in the process.
All the solvents used to make the boots are water-based, so they do not poison the factory workers.
Even the stitching on every pair is made from cotton sourced from the same region as our factory.

When it comes to the care and maintenance of our footwear, there are no requirements.
Brand new, out-of-box, our boots are ready-to-wear and created to be worn and used for years to come.
