Playtime by Hutton Nevada Sand
While we can somewhat accurately imagine what the final result will look like, we never know exactly how colourations will turn out until they are fully formed, in our hands in the flesh.
When we unboxed the first Type 01 Desert Boots in Navada Sand we were enamored. A unique colouration that was anything but common,boring, or safe, Nevada Sand stood out from the standard beige-and-beautiful colourations.
The beige of the Nevada Sand seemed to faintly shimmer gold in full sunlight, like the breathtaking sand and rocks of the Mojave Desert of Nevada.
Yet in lower light, its colouration seemed to shapeshift, taking on an earthy light-brown tone. In cool light, yet again, the elusive colour transformed, appearing almost to glisten with the faintest tinge of green.
The Nevada Sand's colouration is so hard to pinpoint that even the images here (taken on an overcast day) and those showcased of the Type 01 Nevada Sand (photographed on a sunny day in partial shade) give the illusion that we are photographing two different suedes, and yet we assure you, they are the same.
Unique, distinctive, and an obvious choice for someone who wanted to add something special to their step, the Nevada Sand became one of our personal favourites in our everyday collection - albeit the fact that it is a colouration that is so hard to pin down.
We clearly weren't the only ones to realize the value of the specialness in this incredible colouration, as the Nevada Sand Type 01 has become one of our best-selling colourations of our Type 01 Desert Boot. And now this colouration is finally available on the Playtime by Hutton chukka as well.
