Made from the finest cashmere soft reverse calf suede and with period correct two piece crepe sole and foxing. Features the Hutton rolled welt detail.

Just like the original Playtime, these boots are unlined for additional comfort.

Variant Options: Tan Welt Versus Dark Brown Welt Playtime

While it is very difficult to photograph, please note that the suede and crepe soles on the Playtime by Hutton Tan Welt and Dark Brown Welt are both identical.

The only difference between these two variants is the welt colour - the welt being the thin leather line between the uppers and the crepe foxing.

In the image below, you'll see the difference in welt colour - with the tan welt pictured on left, and the dark brown welt pictured on right of the image:

Crepe Over Time: Before & After 7 Months Wear

The colour of the blonde crepe on Hutton Playtime becomes a dark brown over time.

The crepe foxing around the soles gets nice and 'fluffy' with wear.

You can see this in many of the pictures we share on social media of worn-in Playtime chukkas, but we thought we'd share a side by side image so you could tell quite easily for yourself.

Pictured in the images below are one pair of Hutton Playtime with Tan Welt new, out of box (on the left side of the images), and one pair of Hutton Playtime with Tan Welt after approximately 7 months of wear (on the right side of the images).

Our Calf Leather "Tobacco Leaf" Collection Crafted with highest-end luxury, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian calf leather	Ever so slightly more rigid than our Tobacco Reverse-Calf Suede, but still incredibly comfortable on first wear, with very little, if any "breaking in" needed for comfort.
Our Suede "Sand" Collection Crafted with premium, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian suede	Ever so slightly rigid out of box, and will need only a little wear initially to feel like they have molded to your feet.
