Our Hutton Playtime has been requested in a black suede more times than we can count. And we have to admit - it's plain to see why.

This boot is leaps and bounds away from your typical men's black boot.

Somehow, the silhouette of the Playtime seems to make the shade of black look sleeker. The Obsidian Tobacco Playtime screams style and class. It's a smart look, but - dare I say - with an edge?

Like sophistication with a secret.

Not to be confused with our Black Sand (like on our Type 01 Black Sand), the Obsidian Tobacco suede is made of cashmere soft reverse calf, just like the reverse calf suede on our Hutton Playtime in English Tobacco. So be ready for these to fit like a glove before you've even worn them.

Our Reverse-Calf Suede "Tobacco" Collection Crafted with highest-end luxury, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian reverse-calf suede	Cashmere-soft and fit like a glove new, out of box, with very little, if any "breaking in" needed for comfort.
Our Calf Leather "Tobacco Leaf" Collection Crafted with highest-end luxury, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian calf leather	Ever so slightly more rigid than our Tobacco Reverse-Calf Suede, but still incredibly comfortable on first wear, with very little, if any "breaking in" needed for comfort.
Our Suede "Sand" Collection Crafted with premium, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian suede	Ever so slightly rigid out of box, and will need only a little wear initially to feel like they have molded to your feet.
Our Leather "Leaf" Collection Crafted with premium, natural, vegetable-tanned, Italian leather	Somewhat rigid out of box, and will need some wear initially to break in until they have molded to your feet.
