Playtime by Hutton Cognac Leaf Limited Edition Deadstock 'Sprint Run'
Notice: We've been notified that this is the only and last run of Playtime by Hutton in Cognac Leaf we will ever be able to have, as after this run, we will no longer be able to get ahold of this leather.
Like the Acorn Sand, this is because the inventory is deadstock, as the tannery that made this particular leather has closed its doors for good. Thus, the Cognac Leaf will be in the form of a Sprint Run, but one that can, for certain, never make a comeback. Once these sizes are gone, they are gone for good.
Our classic Playtime in Cognac Leaf, a stunning rich, medium-brown leather that is so vibrant and warm-toned, it gives the impression of having just a touch of the glow of a fire-bright orange.
With its warmth and vibrance, the Conac Leaf Playtime stands out plenty enough to be eye catching, while still blending in seamlessly with nearly any outfit due to its brown tones.
Incredibly autumnal in hue, and an excellent option for cooler, wetter weather.
Finished off with a dark brown welt that brings the whole look together.

Sizing Notice:Runs a little small. Our Cognac Leaf Playtime chukkas are the same size as our suede Playtime chukkas, except this type of leather will not stretch as much as our suede Playtime chukka boots.
If you typically have to stretch out your suede Hutton Playtimes, or they feel a bit snug, size up, especially as these are more wintery/intended for cooler weather, meant to be worn with heavier socks.

All Hutton footwear is handmade in Italy, in a hundred year old family-owned factory where they've made crepe-sole boots and shoes since the 1960s.
Can you tell me more about Hutton's signature blonde crepe soles?
Many boots feature crepe soles, but not all crepe is created equal.
In this day and age, most shoe companies will choose the cheapest crepe to use in the production of their shoes and boots.
The option is chosen to check a box, so the consumer sees "crepe" and assumes quality.
But when we choose our materials, we choose to skip past the lower tiers.
At Hutton, we refuse to settle for offering even second best - our blond crepe soles are, quite literally, the best of the best, and the only option we see fit to use.
What about the leathers and other materials used in your footwear?
Each and every Hutton boot and shoe - no matter the colouration - is made of premium quality, locally sourced, Italian leather.
The leather is dyed and tanned by hand - using only natural, vegetable-tanned - a process that happens in Italy as well.
As a result, all of our materials are ethically and responsibly sourced. They are also environmentally friendly, as they are hand-made in Italy using locally sourced materials.
We use expensive, vegetable tanned leather that doesn't require heavy metals, such as chrome, in the process.
All the solvents used to make the boots are water-based, so they do not poison the factory workers.
Even the stitching on every pair is made from cotton sourced from the same region as our factory.

When it comes to the care and maintenance of our footwear, there are no requirements.
Brand new, out-of-box, our boots are ready-to-wear and created to be worn and used for years to come.
