Our Hutton Playtime in English Tobacco is made of "reverse calf suede" - meaning the leather side, which is typically the side used for the outside of the boot, is flipped in, so that the suede side, which is typically the side used for the inside of the boot, is facing out.

You end up with a look that's stunning and oh-so-luxurious in suede. But that left one question itching away in the back of our minds for so long, we couldn't ignore it any longer...

What happens if you take our signature English Tobacco Playtime, and well, reverse the reverse calf suede?

And of course, the unapologetically stylish answer: The Hutton Playtime in English Tobacco Leaf.

That cashmere soft feel of the calf - still here. The quality, the fits-like-a-glove even though they've never been worn before? Still here. But rather than suede on the outside, there's that wonderful rich brown colour that's got a hint of brick red - in leather instead.

A classic in its own right. We're so glad this nagging question resulted in such a stunning answer.

Hutton Playtime Size Guide & Chart

Because everyone's feet are completely unique in terms of shape and size, charts and sizing guides are often imperfect.

That being said, we have done our best to make sure we have the most accurate information about sizing by using data collected from sizing surveys sent out to our customers.

The general rule of thumb when it comes to Hutton's sizing guide: prioritize your EU size if you know it, and use your Typical UK Size and/or Typical US Men's Size as secondary factors to help you determine your size.

If you are in doubt, please size up.

For instance, if you're considering getting a size 41 and think it may be a touch too small, as sometimes you grab a size 41 and they fit too snugly for your comfort, err on the side of caution and grab a size up (a 42 in this example) instead.
